My Favorite LSU Football Video

My favorite LSU football video is the touchdown catch in the last game of LSU vrs. Auburn in 2007. WIth seconds to go, Matt Flynn threw the ball in the endzone to Byrd. It was incredible! I would have given anything to have been at Tiger Stadium for that game. Watch how the crowd goes crazy after the catch. This was a string of many great breaks the Tigers had in 2007 to become the NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!

I was there. The clock on the field was a bit off, so we were all terrified that they were going to accidentally run out of time before getting the ball snapped. And then he threw it instead of kicking…
“There’s no way. It is absolutely impossible to make that catch…”, I thought.
And he caught it. Absolutely staggering, and one of my favorite Tiger moments.
I still don’t know why LSU didn’t kick a field goal Matt. When Byrd caught the ball, I couldn’t believe it! I wish I could have been at the game. This was one of the best college football plays I have ever seen.
