13 LSU Starters From 2007 Return For 2008

Did you know that 13 of the starters for the 2007 National Championship (yes!!!) LSU football team will be returning for 2008? I had no idea!! I saw an article earlier that talked about it. From all of the negative talk about LSU’s chances in the 2008/2009 season, I would have thought that a lot less veteran starters would be returning. NOBODY is giving the Tigers any credit! Maybe it is time for the dumb TV people to wake up.
In other LSU news, the Tigers are gearing up for Spring practice. Practice begins this week, which is earlier than almost any team in the SEC. That sounds pretty smart to me. As hot as it gets in Louisiana, why not start practicing before it gets horrible? The weather has been really pretty in Louisiana lately, and we all know that won’t last long.

Don’t listen to them dummies on TV Alec. LSU will surprise a lot of people this year. Isn’t that sad that we have to say “surprise”? We are talking about the defending champs, aren’t we?
