LSU Starts Spring Practices
Mar 1st, 2008 by gtull1
LSU started their Spring practices on Friday (February 29, 2008) . It seems like it was only yesterday when our Tigers won the BCS National Championship doesn’t it?
For the first Spring practice the football players only wore t-shirts, helmets, and shorts. The weather was really nice outside, so I’m sure that the players didn’t overheat. Just wait until a few months when it’s 99 degrees outside!
Of course Coach Les Miles was at the LSU Spring practice. Chad Jones and Jared Mitchell also skipped their baseball game against Duquesne to make it to the practice. Guess who wasn’t there? Yep, Ryan Perriloux! Unless your head has been buried in the sand, you already know that Ryan Perrilloux has been suspended indefinitely. You can read more about that here: What’s Wrong With Ryan Perrilloux? Since Perrilloux was out, Jarrett Lee and Andrew Hatch took over as quarterbacks at the LSU practice.
The Tigers have 14 more practices to go. Then we can all watch them play (for free!) at the LSU Spring game. Will you be going to that game? My whole family will. I hope a lot of people show up at Tiger Stadium this year for it!
In other news, I just added a new page that shows all of the LSU players on the 2008 Roster. You can read it here if you want to: LSU Football Roster.
P.S. You can also subscribe to my RSS feed, and you can leave me a comment if you want to. Geaux Tigers!!
