LSU Ads, News, & 2008 Season

A lot of my friends have been asking why I have ads on my LSU football fan site. I have two answers. The second one, that isn’t really the main reason, is that the ads go along with what I care about- LSU. Sometimes I like to buy Tigers memorabilia. Well, maybe more than sometimes. I think it’s cool that people can maybe find something they like on here. Does that make sense?
The first reason, and the true one, is that I am trying to save up for football tickets. You already know how expensive that is. The pennies that I may make from selling advertising space helps. Does that make any sense?
Now then, you already know that we have been playing around with providing LSU sports news blurbs on here. Our first attempt was pathetic. It just didn’t work. A few people told me that they would like this, but only maybe 2 or 3 blurbs a day at the most. We are working on that, and I hope we can make it happen soon.
Lastly, do you know how long we still have to wait for the 2008 LSU football season? It makes me sick. We still have 142 days until the opening kickoff against Appalachian State on August 30th. Isn’t that disgusting?
