LSU National Championship Coke Bottles

Have you heard about the new LSU Cokes? The Coca-Cola company has just come out with a special Coke bottle to commemorate the 2007 BCS Nation Champion LSU football team. The special Cokes are 8 ounce glass bottles that have the eye of the tiger on them, and a picture of Coach Les Miles holding the crystal trophy on the case. They are sold in six packs at many grocery and convenience stores.
I don’t know about you, but I’m going to stock up on these Cokes. I think we may buy at least a few cases to hide in the storage shed, and a few more to drink. We also have an awesome LSU football room in our house (it’s purple and full of Tigers memorabilia) that we will put a few on display in.
This is a pretty smart move on the Coca-Cola’s part. They know that us LSU fans will buy these Tiger Cokes like crazy. I wonder how much the company pays to be an official sponsor?
In other news, we made it out to New Orleans last night to catch a Hornets game. The Hornets demolished the Los Angeles Clippers by over 20 points. It was actually a close basketball game until the third quarter. CP3 only scored 4 points in the first half, but he tacked on another 16 in the second before he was pulled out midway through the fourth quarter. It was fan appreciation night, so we got all kinds of freebies. We had a blast.
