Ok, we had Dave leave us a nice reply, about 8 friends call us, and 2 emails asking for us to go for it with the LSU football forums. So…. here it is– http://lsufootballfreak.com/forums
1- It’s early. We are working on the design, and that is going to take a couple of days. Please understand that it is only going to get better from here on out.
2- We need input. If you see something you like, or hate, will you let us know? You can leave a comment here, email us at gtull1@cox.net, post a thread in the LSU football forums under “off-topic”, or whatever other way you know of to reach us. We really appreciate any thoughts.
3- We are adding an LSU news feed tonight. Hopefully that goes well.
4- We are working on avatars. We want to be able to allow everyone to add any avatar they want.
5- We are not really into moderating posts. We just ask that everyone keep it fairly clean. I hate forums that are always threatening to ban people, or deleting threads over some bs, so we don’t want to do that. As long as it is kind of clean and not just a total spam post about medicines or something, we don’t care.
6- We just have 2 ads at the top of every page. Hopefully it isn’t too much. If you feel like they are, talk to us. We don’t make hardly anything on them, but they do cover the hard costs of hosting and such. We have spent waaayyyyy more on this than we will ever cover.
7- We hope you have fun with the new LSU forums! We will work our butts off to make them nice. This is as much for you as it is for us. We love LSU, and this is just another way for us to be involved.
