Jacksonville State Wants Perrilloux?

It looks like Jacksonville State wants LSU’s former quarterback Ryan Perrilloux. I guess they are in need of a drugged up football player to lead their team to… cough… victory. They can have him!
” Jacksonville State coach Jack Crowe has spoken to the family of former LSU quarterback Ryan Perrilloux about a possible transfer to a team with no scholarship quarterbacks on the roster.”– How could they have no scholarship quarterbacks? I need to look into this Jacksonville State team.
“Les was very kind to spend quite a bit of time explaining the situation to me,” Crowe told The Associated Press. “He’s very optimistic about him being a successful player and a successful student-athlete.”— So you’re telling me that Miles thinks R.P. can be a successful “student athlete”? What in the he**??? Are we talking about the same LSU quarterback that was suspended like 26 times from the Tigers, and then kicked off for hitting his dope?
“Perrilloux, who instead was a backup to JaMarcus Russell and Matt Flynn, can transfer to a Football Championship Subdivision team like Jacksonville State without having to sit out a year. The Gamecocks’ 2007 starter, Cedric Johnson, was kicked off the team after the season for violating team rules.”— Sounds like they are trading on gang banger for another to me.
” Once one of the nation’s top quarterback prospects, Perrilloux was suspended three times over the past year. He was on the fringe of a counterfeiting investigation and was caught trying to enter a Baton Rouge casino with false identification. He also was involved in a nightclub fight in November. That caused him to miss a game at Alabama, though he was cleared of wrongdoing.”– Yeah, can you say “gang banger”?

In other news, our new LSU Football Forums is gearing up. It’s looking pretty good so far, we think. We have started sections on LSU Football, Other LSU Sports, Sports News, and Whatever. It’s still very early in the process, but it’s getting there. If you want to leave us any feedback (please!!), you can do it in the Feedback section. It’s VERY easy to register, and you can just say hello if nothing else.We’re hoping that it will be all done within a few more days. We’re just playing around with styles, colors, and avatars right now. Hopefully it comes out great. If nothing else, we can just talk to each other (George and Alec).
