The Mountaineers are no slouches and completely demoralized the Michigan Wolverines the very 1st game of the 07 season, effectively ruining their season very early. I certainly hope “The Hat” has our players ready for this one, pumped up and a few of his famous tricks up his sleeve. Should be one heck of a game!
GEAUX TIGERS!
App st no problem.
LSU ain’t Michigan and the SEC ain’t the big 10.
The only problem might be that we got nothing to win and everything to loose. The only other problem is that we give App St a shot at a truely legandary achievement. What if God hates us ( or loves them) and everything goes wrong and we loose to a 1-a school. The whole world is gonna say we suck just like the overrated big 10.
Naah, that can’t happen (again). Bon Ton roulex.
I think as far as speed is concerned it will be even, it will be a good learning game for App State who in all accounts played LSU tough the last time. Should be interesting.
Wow, I feel bad for LSU when App State demoralizes them at home…App is just too fast and smart to not give a good game. Im not saying App is going to win, but there will be moments in the game where you wonder if they can pull off another major upset, they ALWAYS finish strong…
“App is just too fast and smart to not give a good game …they ALWAYS finish strong…”
Except in ‘05 when they lost to LSU 24-0. That time they did not finish strong…
thanks for the support, i enjoyed last years opening game when LSU rolled v-tech hard, almost felt sorry for them!!!!!
“Except in ‘05 when they lost to LSU 24-0. That time they did not finish strong…”
App is a totally different team from then, and they changed their offense mid season that year. Besides you killed other people a lot more than them that year, I remember 46-7 and 56-6 as some games you played, why couldn’t you pound a sub-div team like that especially if they just started playing a new style.
I hope LSU isn’t as optimistic as its fans are. We all know what happened to the Patriots last year.
I pick App St to win by 3 or more, LSU will have a bowl but no title and a rough start but will pull through in the end
lsu’s quarterback comes from harvard how will he react to a big game situation is to be seen. Appalachian State will have no problem moving the ball but lsu is too strong on the interior close for a while and high scoring but lsu by 14.
