LSU Football Starts Fall Camp

With the 2008 football season quickly approaching, the LSU football Fall camp is here. This Sunday over 100 Tigers will meet to begin the Fall camp.
On Sunday the team will meet for an orientation, followed by a physical and uniform fittings.
On Monday morning the veterans will meet to practice. In the afternoon the freshmen will practice. All of the first day practices will be in shorts and helmets only.
The same will follow for day 2, but day 3 and 4 will see some shoulder pads.
On day 5 (August 8, 2008) the Tigers will be wearing full uniforms and practicing as a whole team.
I know the season is here now, but I swear it doesn’t feel like it. It’s hard to think about “Fall” and “LSU Football” when it’s 100 degrees outside. I sure am glad we’re not out there running around and sweating enough to fill a small swimming pool. Then again, maybe it would be worth it to wear those purple and gold uniforms.
