Louisiana High School Football Gearing Up!

With all the excitement in the air about LSU football, it’s easy for us to forget that Louisiana high school football is about to be kicking off as well. It doesn’t feel like football weather outside, but we guess it’s here anyways. Not that we’re complaining or anything.
Alec’s sister, and my daughter, is in the marching band at St Michael. So we keep up with the Warriors more than any other local high school football team. It looks like the Warriors will be playing their first game of the 2008 season on August 5, 2008. They will be facing off against Riverdale from Jefferson, Louisiana. It’s an away game for us, so I doubt we will be able to go, but we sure wish them well.
For all of you that are playing high school football in Louisiana, and across the country, we wish the best for you. We hope that you have a FUN, safe, and exciting 2008 season. If you play well enough, work hard enough, and are born with the right genetics, maybe you too can play for my Tigers some day. Good luck!
